It is statistically proven that the number one way people are finding and landing jobs is through networking. Some people find that they spend most of their time online. In this session, Mona will discuss how to spend your time effectively on the web. She will also discuss:

  • Text Resumes and the use of cover letters to help your resume not get lost in the black hole.
  • How to decipher if a job opportunity is real and not a scam.
  • Best practices for working with recruiters and how to find them.
  • Researching companies and people.
  • Additional tips and tricks on using the web.

About Our Presenter:

Mona Garrow recently joined AdamsGabbert and holds the position of Talent Acquisition Leader.

She comes to AdamsGabbert with 8 years experience in the investment industry and 6 years in the consulting and career management industries. Mona has extensive experience connecting top talent with organizations. She has partnered with over 250 talent acquisition teams, developed best practices around recruiting, and is extremely passionate about her work. Mona has been featured on KMOV’s ‘’Ready to Work’’ segment several times.

Mona earned both her B.A. and M.A. in Organizational Communication from the University Missouri – St. Louis. She enjoys volunteering in the community and giving back. Her mission is to leave the world better than she found it and to help people realize their full potential.
