Position Summary:

The Director of Business Development will be responsible for new business development within an assigned geographic region. In addition the Director of Business Development will have responsibility for strategic growth planning during the launch and initial fast growth phase of an office.

Essential Responsibilities:

Focused efforts in the local market for new business development
Schedule and conduct targeted number of weekly face-to-face prospect/client meetings
Generate a targeted number of written proposals each month
Develop and implement account strategies which result in strong client relationship development and revenue production
Meet assigned activity and revenue targets on a weekly, monthly and annual basis
Work with the operations and delivery teams to define scope and objectives of projects
Work with entire team (senior management, operations and delivery) throughout engagements to continue to develop and deliver optimal solutions to clients
Conduct periodic status meetings with the client, involving the delivery team
Become a subject matter expert in at least one industry vertical
Cultivate prospects in and around your territory that have large (MRO) Managed Recruitment Outsourcing potential
Serve as point person in new market, supported by Novo Corporate
Create, track and maintain information in Novo’s CRM (Salesforce.com)
Complete administrative tasks on a timely basis

Travel Responsibilities:

Local prospecting and client meetings on a weekly basis and occasional sales meetings outside of office locations for large deals

Basic Qualifications:

Minimum 8 years sales experience, preferably in B2B or Professional Services
Consultative selling experience with VP and C-Suite decision makers
Track record of individual production and exceeding quotas in past
Experience selling recurring revenue services (B2B)
History selling / structuring / closing complex deals
Prior experience working in a collaborative team environment; supporting (or owning) development of sales staff
Believes in the Novo value proposition and can evangelize to win clients and employees

. Network and server assessment tools (e.g. Nessus, metasploit, nmap, nikto, etc.)
